Bihar Cabinet Approves New Policy to Boost MSME Sector, Aims to Create 50,000 Jobs

Patna: In a significant move to bolster the state’s economy, the Bihar government’s cabinet, in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister today, approved the new ‘Bihar MSME Development Policy 2025’. The policy aims to provide financial incentives, cheaper electricity, and simplified regulatory approvals for micro, small, and medium enterprises. State Industries Minister Sameer Kumar Mahaseth stated that the primary objective is to attract fresh investment and create an estimated 50,000 new employment opportunities for the youth of Bihar within the next two years.
