Bihar Government Announces Diesel Subsidy for Farmers to Combat Irregular Monsoon
Patna: To provide critical support to farmers during the Kharif season, the Bihar Agriculture Department has officially launched the ‘Diesel Anudan Yojana’ for 2025. Under this scheme, farmers will be eligible for a subsidy on diesel used for irrigating their fields, providing relief in areas that have received deficient rainfall so far. Agriculture Minister Mangal Pandey announced that applications will be accepted through an online portal, and the subsidy amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts to ensure transparency.
