Bihar Government Upgrades ‘Bihar Bhumi’ Portal to Simplify Online Land Record Access
Patna: In a move towards greater digital transparency, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department of Bihar has launched an upgraded version of its ‘Bihar Bhumi’ web portal. The update promises a more user-friendly interface and faster access to digital land records (Jamabandi), mutation status, and land maps. Officials stated that the new system aims to reduce the dependency on government offices and empower citizens to view and manage their land-related information directly from their homes, a significant step in modernizing land administration in the state.
